Electrician, Plumber and Heating Technician in Neapoli, Vrises and Latsida
Neapoli is a real Cretan market town rather than a resort. It sits in a green valley just off the national road between Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos, with a big church on the main square, cafés where the whole town meets in the evening and narrow streets of older stone and plaster houses. Around it, villages such as Vrises, Fourni and Latsida are full of family homes, inherited village houses and a growing number of properties bought and restored by Northern Europeans who prefer real village life to the coast.
Because the town lies inland and a little higher, winters are noticeably cooler and wetter than in Hersonissos. That makes heating, dry walls and a reliable hot water supply just as important as air conditioning in summer. Many houses here were built in stages over decades, so the electrics and plumbing are often a patchwork of old and new.
From my base in Hersonissos I reach Neapoli in about 30 minutes via the national road, so it is close enough for urgent call-outs as well as planned renovation work. I am a Belgian-certified plumber, electrician and HVAC technician and I speak English and Dutch, so you always know exactly what I am doing and why.
